The political crisis existing between the current minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, rose to another level as the governor dismissed Serjeant Chidi Awuse as the Chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers and appointed Eze Chike Worlu Wodon as his replacement.
However, during an interview with Arise News, Asukuwe Ikoawaji noted the duties and responsibilities of a traditional ruler in a community or state.
He pictures the traditional rulers as a father who ought to be reasonable enough to call his kids to order whenever a fight breaks out between them.
