Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, reacted on social media to remarks made by Peter Obi, a previous Labour presidential candidate, opposing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima’s acquisition of new planes.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Recall that Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga had few hours ago, criticized former presidential candidate, Peter Obi for tackling the Federal Government over its plan to buy new presidential jets.

Bayo Onanuga in his reaction, asked Peter Obi if he wants President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to “die like Iran President of the Vice President of Malawi.”

And so following such events, former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Dele Momodu took to his official Instagram account to react, as he stated that there is no compulsory reason for a country to own presidential jets in these hard times, adding that;

“In fact, it is an overindulgence. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu owned private jets ever before he was declared president. He can demonstrate the sacrifice he preaches by downsizing and returning to them and requesting his retinue to go commercial when absolutely necessary.”

Dele Momodu finally stated that the trouble is that Nigerian politicians are outstandingly flamboyant, adding that;

“There’s nothing wrong with what Peter Obi said and suggested.”
