PDP Clarifies Rumors of Suspension and Stated Ogbeide-Ihama Is Still a Member

Omolegie Ogbeide-Ihama, a former member of the National Assembly, has not been suspended, according to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State’s Oredo Local Government Area. The claims of suspension, according to the party, are “false and misleading.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to Nation News, PDP Chairman of the Local Government, Oduwa Igbinosun, said, “The attention of local government leaders has been drawn to the alleged removal of Mr. Ogbeide-Ihama by a group,” stressing that the activities of the party’s National Working Committee have been extended. All elected leaders have been approved as members of the transition committee, with their tenure renewed.

PDP Ward 2 executives in Oredo Local Government Area also confirmed that they were unaware of the suspension or expulsion of Ogbeide-Ihama. The zonal secretary, Jesubo Obadigye, said, “Omoregi Ogbeide Ihama is not only a member of the party but also a prominent and formidable leader of the party and continues to enjoy the full support of party members in District 2.
