Bamiloye warned that despite appearances of success and popularity, a backslider is spiritually dead and lost. “He may think he or she is enjoying, and receiving the applause of worldly friends and fans, but he is dead! he is completely lost,” he exclaimed.
The evangelist emphasized that material wealth and worldly achievements mean nothing in the face of spiritual death. “He may be swimming in money, but he is dead and lost. He may be popular in the entertainment industry or corporate world, but he is lost and dead,” he said.
However, Bamiloye offered a message of hope, stating that if the backslider returns to the Lord before it’s too late, there will be joy and celebration in heaven. “There shall be joy and merry in heaven by the angels that the lost is found and dead is alive,” he said.
