President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was comforted by a Yoruba song sung by Dr. Segun Showunmi, a PDP chieftain, after Tinubu fell on Democracy Day. As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was going to board the parade vehicle at Eagles Square, VANGUARD claims he lost his balance and fell. However, Dr Segun Showunmi has now reacted after the president fell at the event.

In a post that he titled, “On The Fall Of The President”, he said he is saddened by the fall of the president at the event. He however, went further to console Bola Ahmed Tinubu with a song in Yoruba language.

Dr. Segun Showunmi wrote on his official X handle on Wednesday;

“My heart is saddened by the slip and fall of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today in public after he climbed the parade vehicle at the Eagle Square. I wish to console him with a song in our Yoruba language”.
