In a video shared by Sahara TV, Falana also spoke about the use of foreign exchange currency for sending people on pilgrimages. He argued that this practice is unnecessary and also against the constitution. He said the government should focus on more important needs rather than catering to the luxurious demands of the elite or funding pilgrims with scarce resources.
In Falana’s words: “How can you ask Japan to send you 500 jeeps at a cost of $150,000 per one when you have assembly plant in the country producing jeeps and other vehicles.
