Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal has discussed how he believes Bola Tinubu got to be president. Lawal talked about how influential elites have selected the majority of presidents since 1960 in a recent YouTube video that Arise TV posted. He claimed that Tinubu used a different strategy by gaining power through financial gain. Lawal claims that Tinubu exploited his understanding of how greed affects individuals to further his ascent to power.
