Yoruba Nation: George stated. "Agitators Carried Their Weapons In Military Uniforms And Nobody Stopped Them On The Road

Elderly statesman and PDP chieftain Chief Bode George has responded to certain Yoruba nation agitators who over the weekend broke into the Oyo State House of Assembly’s Agodi Secretariat in the state capital of Ibadan. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Vanguard News had earlier reported that the Oyo State Secretariat in Ibadan was attacked by suspected O’odua Nation agitators on Saturday. The agitators occupied and attempted to overwhelm security operatives at the State Assembly complex and entire secretariat.

According to reports, they were dressed in military camouflage and armed with weapons, hoisted their own flag within the Assembly premises.

Daily Post reported that Chief Bode George, in his response to the development on Arise Television on Monday said; “You have your freedom of speech which is the most sensible way to approach this problem. The problem is that this thing never leaked to the intelligence of this nation.”

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain stated further; “Agitators carried their weapons in military uniforms, and nobody stopped them on the road. You now see the urgent need for state police because they could not have been meeting somewhere if we are well organized like the state police.”
