Due of the higher profits in foreign markets, Nigerian architect Kabiru Ibrahim has said that Dangote is more interested in exporting cement to other nations than in focusing on local sales. He explained the situation by pointing to the impact of dollarization on Nigerian cement prices. Based on his firsthand experience comparing cement prices across the continent, he further refuted the idea that cement is more reasonably priced in other African nations.

He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”It’s not true that cement is cheaper in other African countries. I have priced cement somewhere in Africa too. When you talk of Dangote cement in Nigeria, go to some African countries and you will still see Dangote cement.
