Captain Sadeeq Shehu, a retired military officer, has claimed that an intelligence assessment suggested that infamous bandit kingpin Boderi Isyaku planned to barricade the Kaduna-Abuja route. He said that the following widespread deployment of law enforcement and military troops along that road would be interpreted as a precautionary action, creating the impression that the planned attack was thwarted by the obvious presence of security officers.
