Nigerians Reacts on How policemen pursued traffic robber from Ketu to Ojota after snatching phone, purse from woman

The Lagos State Police Command claimed on its X Twitter on Saturday that a traffic robber who allegedly stole a phone and handbag full of cash from a woman has been apprehended by officers after they tracked him down from Ketu, where he allegedly committed the crime, to Ojota. The 20-year-old traffic robber, identified as Yusuph Mohammed, was apprehended by members of the state police command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) after the woman reported that the young man had taken her belongings.

It was gathered that following the alarm raised, the officers patrolling Ketu and Ojota axis of the state were said to have pursued him from Ketu to Ojota and eventually succeeded in arresting him while the said items he stole from the lady were recovered from him.

In another development, the RRS operatives raided some black spots in the metropolis and arrested 47 miscreants terrorizing the residents of the state.

They were arrestedĀ during the raiding that took place at Oluwole/Sunday Market, Ogba; Okeā€“Koto, Agege and Okunola Street/31 Road, Egbeda, following thorough surveillance of the black spots and hideouts in the areas.

According to the statemen by the police command on its X handle, the traffic robbers as well as the 47 miscreants are expected to be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
