Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation activist, has contacted certain Yoruba elders who are dissatisfied with Tinubu’s government. After arriving back in Nigeria, Sunday Igboho reportedly made this call while chatting with a few of his followers in Oyo state, according to SAHARA REPORTERS. Igboho insisted that the former President, Muhammadu Buhari is responsible for the current hardship being faced in the country. He noted that instead of complaining about Tinubu’s government, Yoruba elders should come together and free the South West from armed Fulani herdsmen who are preventing them from going to their farms. Igboho said that they should emulate the Igbos who freed themselves from the armed herdsmen and are farming now instead of complaining.

Hear him, “Many people think Tinubu destroyed the government, but Tinubu didn’t destroy the government. My pain with Yorubas is that while Buhari was in power, I was shouting that we should come together and liberate ourselves from this suffering. Buhari had nothing to offer us.

My pain is that some Yoruba elders are saying they want to hold protests that they are hungry. Have you seen any Igbos complaining? They have sent all armed Fulani herdsmen out of their lands and they are farming, doing what they want with their lands.
