Prof. Okaba claims that Governor Fubara’s conflict with the previous governor started when the former asked about the extent of his authority to do particular duties in his capacity as governor. He bemoaned the fact that Siminalayi Fubara is essentially operating as a puppet in his role as governor.
In his words, ”We have done a thorough analysis; the only offence committed by Fubara is that he had decided to ask questions about his authority to do certain things as governor of the state. This man as a governor has merely travelled out of the state; this man as a governor is being challenged by his own commissioners; this man as a governor is just there as a stooge.
