According to a statement from Samuel Aruwan, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, the bandit commander and a few of his fighters were slain in a gunfight with the military in the Bada and Riwaya general regions of the state’s Chikun and Igabi local government areas.
According to Aruwan, the death of the bandits was confirmed to the Kaduna State Government by security officials carrying out internal security operations and diligent checks from human intelligence sources.
