These People Stole Power and Still Can't Sleep-Chidi Odinkalu Tackles Shettima statement On Hardship

In response to Vice President Kashim Shettima’s recent claim that the country’s economic problems are the product of the desperate politicians who lost the 2023 elections, human rights advocate and lawyer Chidi Odinkalu has responded. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Shettima said that food prices decreased as soon as the trucks transporting food were stopped in response to the recent interception of 45 food trucks en way to neighboring countries.

Shettima reportedly stated that this demonstrates that there are forces determined to harm the nation and that it is now necessary for everyone to unify and join a one organisation. According to him, the forces are determined to bring chaos to the nation.

The Vice President went on to say that the forces are politicians who did not win the 2023 elections and that they have become desperate rather than waiting until 2027.

Shettima asserted that Nigeria is greater than everyone and that the nation would overcome its present difficulties, even if he did not give the names of the individuals he claimed to have turned desperate.

Shettima reportedly stated, “Forces are hell-bent on plunging this country into a state of anarchy,” according to Vanguard. Those who are desperate are those who were unable to gain power by voting; instead, they are waiting for 2027. They believe that this country is capable of collapsing. However, we plan to pay them a visit.”

Furthermore, he stated, “We need to make this country function. Politics ought not be our only concern. We are currently dealing with governance. Regretfully, a portion of our fellow citizens remain politically active.”

Chidi Odinkalu responded to Shettima’s statement by questioning how the administration could be claiming that the opposition is present in areas where it was previously asserted that they lack votes.
