He published the remark on his official X Twitter in a post.
In response to one of his supporters who claimed that Obidians had chosen the Yoruba People as adversaries, Dele Farotimi made the claim.
He said the X user was wrong to have come to that conclusion. He said the Obidients Movement is a creation of the Yoruba people.
He wrote on his page;
“The Obidient Movement is essentially a creation of the Yoruba people, and you are very wrong to conclude as you have. I don’t know if your fallacious conclusion is borne of ignorance, misunderstanding, or if it is willful, but you are wrong. Very wrong”.
