He responded, saying that “leaders should be able to absolve criticisms; leadership comes with responsibilities.”
“Mrs. Hambali’s fault, using the derogatory word. But there’s an essence to her statement that you need to respond to, and I think it’s equally important too. Please don’t dodge.
Dr. Hakeem’s response to the above statement pointed at him read, “I NEVER dodge, Abubakar. She called me a hypocrite. Some people are angry I am not vocally criticizing govt I work with. Some think I betrayed them by not doing what they expect. Some think North lost a voice. Some have narrow grievances to settle. I know what I am doing and why.
