In an interview with Channels TV, Falana said before the removal of fuel subsidy in April last year, the amount shared by the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) to the three tiers of government (federal, state, and local) was N655 billion, but in July, after the removal, it increased to 1.9 trillion naira. He said in July, the government decided to keep 900 billion and shared 1 trillion naira. He said in December, the shared amount was 1.7 trillion naira.
