In the United States of America, Herbert Wigwe perished in a helicopter crash in California, close to the Nevada border.

According to the report by the Punch, Wigwe lost his wife and son in the ill-fated crash.

According to media reports, no survivor has been located following the crash, and there was no information about where the helicopter had departed and where it was headed.

Reacting to the shocking incident, Keyamo disclosed that Wigwe was in his office earlier this week. He shared photos which he said they took in his office before Wigwe travelled out of Nigeria.

In addition to that, he said that both of them were preparing to make announcement of a huge project for the aviation industry, and that it was the reason he came to his office with his team.

In the statement he made on X, formerly known as Twitter, Keyamo revealed that Wigwe’s parents and sibling were his neighbours in Lagos some years ago, and prayed for God to comfort his parents.

Part of his statement read, “He was in my office earlier this week (where we took the pictures below) and actually left my office to fly out of the country and never came back. I am also shocked to learn his wife, son and other friends were involved in this tragedy.

“We were on the verge of announcing something big for the aviation sector, the reason he actually came to the office with his entire team, both from Access and Wigwe University. This is surreal and I am lost for words.”
