The Truth We Must All Face Is That We Can't Keep Operating An Unregulated Social Media- According to Ayo Fayose

Ayodele Fayose, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former governor of Ekiti State, has called for social media platforms to be regulated in the nation in accordance with the law for both platform owners and users. e fighting, insisting that it must be regulated, so as to prevent people from spreading fake news.

Mr Fayose made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle. He also noted that the level of its abuse and use for misinformation on social media platforms is worrisome, stating it clearly that no society or responsible government will fold its arms at these excesses.
