Okupe, who said this while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, noted that Tinubu is the apple of the eyes of the people of the Southwest and must not be spoken about with disdain.
He said:
“From now on, we are no longer going to keep quiet for people who think they can just insult Bola Tinubu,”
“Tinubu from the Southwest is the apple of our eyes. He is not doing wrong. If things are not looking well now, they’ll look well because we know him.”
An increasing number of Nigerians have been lamenting the current harsh economic situation that the policies of the Tinubu-led federal administration has subjected them to.
