According to Okupe, Tinubu would be overthrown in 2027 by a combination of former presidential candidates from the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar. He claimed that if former President Goodluck Jonathan entered the race in 2027, it would be the end of the game.
In a tweet, Okupe urged business magnate Aliko Dangote to support Atiku, just like Elon Musk supported Donald Trump. In his words, “Many Nigerian pseudopoliticians lack deep thinking. Atiku/Obi will unseat Tinubu. Assumes Yorubas are stupid.”
“Bring GEJ in 2027. Game over assumes the North is self-destructive. Dangote should be like Elon Musk and back Atiku. Assumes Dangote is suicidal. Where is God in all this?”
This occurred after Atiku Abubakar’s spokesperson, Paul Ibe, accused President Tinubu of doing everything possible to establish a dictatorship by dismantling the Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Ibe asserted that Tinubu’s plan to impose a one-party state in 2027 was the driving force behind the action to disband the opposition party.
He accused Tinubu of ignoring the suffering of Nigerians and only intending to be reelected in 2027.
According to the Daily Post, during an interview with News Central TV, Ibe disputed claims that Atiku was self-centered and underlined that the former vice president and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for 2023 is only being patriotic by contesting for president.
