The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an arrest warrant for Hon. Edison Ehie, the Chief of Staff to Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. There are rumors that he was part of the State House of Assembly burning. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Additionally, the court ruled that Jinjiri Bala, Happy Benedict, Progress Joseph, Adokiye Oyagiri, and Chibuike Peter, better known as Rambo, should be arrested. These five people are all residents of Port Harcourt.

According to Daily Post, the arrest order was granted by Justice Emeka Nwite in response to an ex-parte application brought by the Inspector General of Police, citing various legal provisions.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Simon Lough, argued that the defendants were currently at large, alleging their involvement in conspiracy, arson, terrorism, attempted murder, and the killing of a Superintendent of Police and five other police informants.

The defendants have been declared wanted, and the order is for their subsequent arrest, investigation, and trial. The ex-parte application is identified as FHC/ABJ/CS/12/2024.

Two weeks ago, the IGP initiated the trial of five Port Harcourt-based individuals on terrorism charges related to the political crisis in Port Harcourt last October.
