Professor Utomi clarified the necessity of making sacrifices for the welfare of the Nigerian people as a whole in a perceptive interview that aired on Channels Television today. She emphasized that the current moment goes beyond the petty aspirations and egos of politicians.

“When I talked to the several presidential candidates in the last run, about the plan we are making. Yes, I’ve had conversations with Alhaji Atiku, Kwankwaso, Peter Gregory Obi and some of those that will constitute the base of a mega party. I’ve said to them, it’s not about you. It’s about the ordinary person in the state, it’s about how we can become one of the most productive economies, because our factor endowment allow that. But our politics have not allowed Nigerians to produce these things, our politicians are just about grabbing, they don’t have the discipline to sit down and plan how Nigeria can produce it’s way out of poverty.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
