Israeli Strikes Targeted Several Military Bases Near Tehran, Iran News Agency Says

 

Israeli strikes hit several military bases in and around Tehran, Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency reported. The report said several bases in the southern and western districts of the capital were struck. According to Iranian media, a vital refinery south of the capital has not experienced any explosions or fires. “No fire or explosions at a Tehran refinery have been reported,” the spokesperson told the Tasnim news agency.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Meanwhile, Iranian official television reports that activities at Tehran’s airports, including Imam Khomeini International Airport, are operating normally. Imam Khomeini International Airport and Mehrabad Airport are operating normally and on schedule, according to the state TV presenter, quoting the airport chiefs.

In another report, Israeli official told NBC, “Strikes not targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities or oil fields”. According to NBC, Israel is targeting military objectives rather than Iranian nuclear facilities or oil fields. “We’re targeting things that might have threatened us in the past or could do so in the future,” the official is reported as saying.
