27 Rivers lawmakers swore they left PDP; It's surprising court said they are PDP members—According to Ugochinyere

The representative for Ideato North-South Federal Constituency in Imo State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, has expressed his dismay following the ruling by a court that the 27 legislators from Rivers State who had announced their defection from the PDP to the APC were still PDP members. In a video shared by AIT, Ugochinyere said the 27 lawmakers led by Martins Amaewhule swore to an affidavit that they left the PDP due to an alleged division within the party. He said he finds it surprising that a court ruled that the lawmakers are still PDP members despite the sworn affidavit supporting their defection

In Ugochinyere’s words: “These people (27 Rivers lawmakers) swore to an affidavit at the federal high court that they left PDP because of the so-called imaginary division that is not even existing anywhere in PDP.
