He stayed that the appeals court rejected the lawmakers’ prayers to vacate the injunction declaring their seats vacant and to nullify the decisions made by Oko Jumbo’s leadership.
According to him, “They won nothing at the appeal court. The only thing they got from the appeal court was a ‘facerated’ hearing for the compilation of records and for the Rivers State High Court not to continue proceeding on the matter pending when the appeal court decides, but their prayer for the injunction that has declared their seat vacant to be vacated, they lost.
