Where was the money going before?- According to Marvin YobanaThe people of Rivers State are anxiously awaiting Governor Siminalayi Fubara to start his plans to form a panel of inquiry that will look into the former administration before he took over, according to political affairs analyst Marvin Yobana, who is located in Rivers. Yobana asserted in an AIT interview that as soon as Governor Fubara took office, the State’s internally generated revenue increased by ₦12 billion. He said: “Rivers people are eagerly anticipating for the probe that the Governor talked about. And we are waiting for it because we need to know how funds were spent.

Where were all these internally generated revenue? Why did we not have it? Why did a sudden ₦12 billion was added to the internally generated revenue immediately Fubara took over? So where was the money going before? What are the leakages?
