In an interview with Seun Okinbaloye a few hours ago, the member of the Kaduna North Federal Constituency drew this comparison. He said that although they have failed as leaders, people shouldn’t hold the All Progressive Congress or the Peoples Democratic Party responsible for their failure, as it is a widespread issue.
However, Bello El-Rufai when asked if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is better than Peter Obi, mentioned that;
“Without a doubt. I think Lagos State is more developed than Anambra. Governor Peter Obi is not even in the category of governor Fashola and my father, that is my view.”
Bello El-Rufai further criticized the supporters of Peter Obi for speaking bad about the people that were killed in the explosion in Ibadan few months ago, adding that if they wanted to defeat APC, their presidential candidate would have being in the same party with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
