Femi Falana is the most recent attorney to discuss the judiciary and the petitions that have been filed. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) claims in a statement carried by Channels Television today that “the judiciary is facing unprecedented blackmail and intimation over the presidential election petitions, saying that the blackmail is not necessary since there is still opportunity for an appeal at the Supreme Court”
“We have had election petitions since the colonial era, but none have drawn such a level of blackmail and intimidation of the judiciary,” Falana said in the interview.
