Wike further denied assertions that he started acting offensively as a result of not being selected as a vice presidential candidate.
He stated:
“I never ran election to be vice presidential candidate. If anybody saw that wave that was coming, you knew that it was all about the Southern President. Another thing that affected so many things, some people are not comfortable with the Muslim-Muslim ticket, particularly in the Christian dominated areas. And if you watch practically, the areas that went for Obi are mostly the Christian dominated areas. And that is the truth of the matter.”……
