Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta State’s executive governor, has disclosed the purpose of Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun’s (IGP) Monday visit to the state. The executive Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori stated on his verified Facebook page on Monday; “It was an honor to warmly welcome the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, to Government House, Asaba, today. The IGP is in the state for various reasons, including the commissioning of additional Hilux operational vehicles for OPERATION DELTA SWEEP (ODS).”

The executive Governor of Delta State added; “This initiative aims to enhance the daily and nightly patrols of the combined Task Force. The commissioning of these vehicles significantly increases the number of patrol vehicles available to the Task Force.”

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain stated further; “This effort is a direct response from our administration to the fourth pillar of the MORE Agenda – Enhanced Peace and Security.”
