Local media reported that Cristiano Ronaldo encountered difficulties getting his kids accepted into Portugal’s esteemed St. Julian’s School. The soccer player’s home in Cascais, close to Lisbon, is still being built, therefore he and his partner Georgina Rodriguez intend to move back to Portugal. Ronaldo and Rodriguez were spotted visiting St. Julian’s School, a well-known British private institution catering to children aged 3 to 18, which serves some of the wealthiest and most influential families in Portugal. Despite discussions about enrolling their children, the couple’s application was rejected.

Portuguese media outlet V+Fama reported that the rejection was due to privacy concerns, as the school wanted to avoid becoming a constant focus of media attention. The couple, along with their children, currently reside in Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al Nassr, with his contract running until 2025.
