Despite their recent bad luck, United still had a squad capable of surprising any foe. However, once United unexpectedly took the lead, Arsenal quickly established control of the match. After rapidly achieving parity, they went on to dominate the remaining 90 minutes.
By winning 3-1 against Manchester United, they showed that they could handle pressure and that they wanted to contend for the league title. Arsenal’s draw with Fulham was a setback, but they were able to recover following it.
There were questions about how convincing of a victory Arsenal had achieved. They had only won by one goal in each of their previous two games this season (against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest). The scoreboard makes Arsenal’s 3-1 triumph clear, don’t you think? That certainly is a resounding victory. It is.
Arsenal was the superior team, notwithstanding the result. United spent a lot of time in Arsenal’s half because they couldn’t figure out how to break them down.
Because United had a goal disallowed for offside, one could argue that the outcome was relatively fortunate. Arsenal defeated a top-six foe, nevertheless, thanks to two late goals that showcased their clinical streak.
Manchester City may once again be the Premier League’s runaway leads as it is still early in the season. Even so, Arsenal has proven they are here to stay. The team finally appears to have a strategy and a sense of identity under Mikel Arteta’s leadership. The Spaniard gives Arsenal supporters hope that this season will be better than the previous one. The Gunners are once again playing with intent, and their skillful goal-scoring makes them a formidable foe. The young players like Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have matured, and they have made some intriguing acquisitions like Thomas Partey and Gabriel.
It’s no secret that Arsenal has had difficulty lately, but things are finally starting to turn around for them. Recent performances demonstrate that they are prepared to resume top-level competition.
