Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party’s Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, and the Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour were beaten in the election by the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. However, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress’ victory has been contested in the election tribunal by the Labour Party candidate.

In an exclusive interview with The Punch Newspaper, Mrs. Islamiyat Oyefusi reportedly stated, “You see, I try not to comment on a case that is in court, but I feel that we won this election. There is self-evident proof. We have faith in Nigeria’s justice system.
