The most superior evangelist, Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, the shepherd in charge of CCC Grace of Comfort Parish in Ile Ife, Osun state, was allegedly killed. The Osun State Police Command has announced the arrest of the culprit, evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe. The deceased man’s wife claims that three days prior, her husband told her that he had an encounter with the suspect. Out of fear for her safety, she advised calling the police to report the incident. She was disappointed, nevertheless, that her husband ruled out the prospect of an assassination. She said in an interview with TVC, ”My husband used to take Lekan around and he recommends him to some people who need his service for Brick laying jobs and carpentry works. But suddenly, he [Lekan] said he wanted to be a Levite, my husband agreed to take him in as a Levite. If he receives milk from Church members, he will share it with Lekan.
All of a sudden, Lekan started misbehaving and my husband suspected it. So three days ago, my husband told me they both had a brawl in Church. I told him that we should report to the police station.
