VDM suggests that 2Baba might be joking with Nigerians about his divorce, similar to how he previously tricked people into thinking some money from his NGO was lost a few weeks ago.
According to VDM, 2Baba announced his divorce from his wife during the airing of Young, Famous, and African season two, where his wife is a participant. The media personality noted that this decision is unexpected and could hurt presenter Toke Makinwa when she learns about it. He also hinted that she might be part of the plan.
On the night of January 26, 2025, 2Baba stirred up conversation online by revealing that he and Annie had separated and he was filing for divorce. This news caused a big reaction on social media. Shortly after, he posted again, claiming that his Instagram account had been hacked.
The artist behind “African Queen” clarified that his account was not hacked and stated, “he said what he said.” This means he is genuinely considering a divorce from Annie.
