uncovered: The Edo REC’s phone seizures and threats against INEC employees during the rigging of the governorship election results



According to reliable sources, Dr. Anugbum Onuoha, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Edo State, used compulsion and intimidation to rig the results of the recently held Edo governorship election. Employees of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have reported on multiple occasions that Onuoha confiscated their phones and threatened to penalize anyone who refused to assist with the manipulation process or tried to expose his illicit actions.
