A plan put out by two Israeli MPs would make it unlawful to discuss Jesus Christ with the intention of influencing people’s religious beliefs.

Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Asher, who are both United Torah Judaism members, are the authors of the bill and claim that “missionary groups, particularly Christians,” have intensified their efforts to convert Israelis.
