Every time a new administration is formed, the President in Charge is supposed to submit his list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for consideration and, ideally, Senate approval. Furthermore, it is no longer news that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent the Senate his list of candidates for ministerial positions. These nominations are awaiting Senate confirmation after the subsequent vetting procedure. The ministerial candidates proposed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were announced a few weeks ago. The chosen ministers are taking part in their swearing-in ceremony today at Aso Rock in Abuja. Shuaibu Audu, who will be the Minister of Steel Development, is one of the 45 ministers who will take the oath of office.

Reactions have followed the minister’s conduct of genuflection before Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he took his oath of office just before proceeding to shake the president’s hand.
