Peter Obi said, “I just came upon a terrible, devastating video where Nasarawa ladies conducted a topless protest as a method of expressing their discontent with the election results,” after viewing the video of the topless protest by Nasarawa women.
According to Peter Obi, elections are held so that people may choose the representatives they want to represent them in democratic administration. When voters are denied the chance to exercise their right to vote in a free, fair, and reliable election or when their mandate is stolen, a grave injustice has taken place.
He said, “Our women have been humiliated and left to seek justice the only manner they can trust—by calling on their creator. They should be honored, respected, and have their rights safeguarded.”
Peter Obi also stated that he would continue to support corporate environments using a 40% Affirmative Action policy for female political appointments. We must improve as a country and make sure that the people’s mandate is not taken away from them……. Read more
