According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United has inquired about the possibility of acquiring Leicester City full-back Luke Thomas. This summer, there have been rumours that the 22-year-old may leave the Foxes since he isn’t in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the team. However, Leeds United are also a contender, and the Peacocks are eyeing either Thomas or Djed Spence. CONTINUE READING>>>>>
But the Daily Mail has reported that the Foxes are unwilling to let the 22-year-old leave for a fellow Championship side and are thus waiting for a Premier League club to make their move. United are in the market for a left-back and are considering their options, with others on their shortlist as well.
Man Utd offer Martial to Real Madrid
Manchester United have reportedly offered Real Madrid the chance to sign forward Anthony Martial on loan for their manager, Carlo Ancelotti. According to Fichajes, the deal would include an option for the La Liga giants to sign Martial permanently for £12.8 million (€15 million).
Real Madrid don’t have many natural strikers other than Joselu, with Vinicius often partnering Rodrygo up front following Karim Benzema’s departure to Al-Ittihad this summer.
Martial would represent a more natural option up front for Ancelotti’s side, but it remains to be seen whether a deal will materialise before the summer transfer window closes in a few days’ time. The Frenchman already has experience playing in LaLiga, having had a loan spell at Sevilla last year.
Birmingham close to £3m Aiwu deal
Birmingham City are close to agreeing a £3m deal with Cremonese for 22-year-old defender Emmanuel Aiwu, according to Sky Sports. Plans are in place for the Austria U21 international to fly to the Midlands on Tuesday to undergo a medical and complete the contractual details.
The original negotiations centred on a loan deal with an option to buy, but the two clubs have now agreed a substantive transfer.
Pavard to Inter – Chalobah to Bayern
Inter Milan have issued a 2pm (UK time) deadline for Bayern Munich to sanction Benjamin Pavard’s move to the club, according to Sky Sports in Italy. Bayern have asked for patience and want a replacement secure first. Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah is the top target.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports News believes Bayern have made initial contact with Chelsea over the signing Chalobah. If a deal can be agreed, the decision will rest with the player.
Chalobah still has five years left on his contract with the option of a further 12 months. CONTINUE READING>>>>>
