Dr. Ope Banwo, a human rights advocate and lawyer from Nigeria, has commented on the continuing issue surrounding the designation of Bola Tinubu, of the APC, as the winner of the recently held presidential election despite the fact that he only received up to 25% of the votes cast in Abuja.

He continued, saying that if Segun showed up with 25 friends and demanded to know if he was still eligible to pick up the automobile even though he had requested Segun to bring 24 of his friends and Bunmi to get his Gwagon.

Remember that Mr. Peter, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, contested Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election as president despite not meeting the constitutional requirement of receiving at least 25% of the votes cast in Abuja. Nigerians are nonetheless anticipating the court’s decision in this matter.
