According to him, Tinubu’s election as president-elect was proclaimed by INEC in a non-constitutional manner. The INEC Chairman, he said, had misapplied the constitution’s section 134.

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the ruling party, the APC, received a fake certificate of return, he continued. According to his opinion, the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket did not fulfill the standards set forth in section 134 of the constitution, which must be satisfied before a presidential candidate may be recognized as the winner of the election.

He asserted that in accordance with Section 134, the candidate must receive the most votes and at least 25% of the vote in at least two-thirds of the federation’s states and the Federal Capital Territory in order to be deemed the winner and receive a certificate of return.
