More information regarding the incident has been provided by Ayomide Adeleye, a university student who was detained for the murder of Christiana Idowu, a fellow churchgoer, when she went to see him about fixing her phone.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to the Vanguard report, Adeleye confessed that he strangled Christiana in a shop while she was distracted by his phone. After her death, he left her body in the shop where the incident happened. Later that night, he began digging a shallow grave in a nearby farm behind his house at around 11 p.m. He completed the shallow grave by dawn and buried the body hastily.

Ayomide also said after the body was buried, he contacted Christiana’s mother to demand ransom payments. He collected 360 thousand naira from them even though Christiana was already dead.

In his words: “By 11 p.m. that same night, I started to dig her grave in a small farm behind our compound. Luckily, rain fell that day, so the ground was a little soft. I dug using shovel. I was not able to dig deep that night. So, I postponed the digging. The body was still in the shop. By 4 am the following day, I woke up, I continued digging.
