Toyin Lawani declares Annie the forever African Queen
A few days back, Toyin had shown support for Annie over the backlash she received for her toxicity on the Young Famous and African reality show. Toyin described Annie as someone who is very real and doesn’t sugarcoat things. She noted how such behavior can be both a flaw and a blessing. Despite Annie’s realness, Toyin believes the actress was going through a hard time and was in so much pain, yet, the producers of the show are exploiting her. She applauded Annie for her vulnerability and for demanding closure and love at the moment.
BBNaija reality star, Queen Mercy Atang had also sent a message to Annie, as she expressed how much she loves her and encouraged her to hold tightly to God. She stated that Annie’s trust in God will make Him bring everything to perfection. She also expressed how much she loves the way Annie loves her husband, 2baba, and how she is intentional about her family.
Similarly, beauty Influencer and entrepreneur Laura Ikeji spoke out for Annie Idibia. She admonished anyone who is Annie’s friend, who knows that she is an amazing person, not to join strangers to kick her down. Laura, who has also been on reality shows, noted how reality shows will mess up one’s head, and as such, people should show Annie love and maintain positive energy around her.
On the show, Annie had emotionally opened up about losing twins. While speaking to one of her co-stars, she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with twins one year ago. Describing 2024 as a really hard year, she stated that this was the reason she wasn’t showing up so much on the show and attending events.
Also on the show, Mrs Idibia had sparked social media conversation over her bizarre behavior. In the clip, the actress was captured facetiming her legendary singer husband, 2baba as she revealed her desire to return home. She begged the singer to allow her to come back as she noted how her relationship with her co-reality star, Zaria Hassan, was getting worse.
