Samuel Nwanosike: We Will Invest In Another Person, Fubara Will See Us Elect A New Governor Of Rivers

Former Ikwerre Local Government chairman Samuel Nwanosike asserted that the PDP, lead by Nyesom Wike, will back a different candidate in the 2027 election because they saw their support for Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara as a misplaced investment.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He reaffirmed their commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its constitution, stating that no one can disobey its rules. He expressed confidence in the new party leaders who will administer the party’s affairs and assured that they will all fall in line. He conveyed that they will not be deterred by the current setback and will continue to work within the PDP to achieve their goals.

He said in an interview with TVC, ”If the man we voted for as governor said he doesn’t want to see us, we cannot go and commit suicide. People do investments and when their products come on the high sea, their product will fall into the sea and they do lose their investments. But it does not stop them from investing the next time. We have invested in Siminalayi Fubara as governor of Rivers State and he has chased us away.

And it’s not a problem, we will remain members of PDP. We will invest in another person, Fubara will see us elect a new governor of Rivers in 2027. We are proud to be members of PDP and nobody can disobey the constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party.
