He said in an interview with TVC, ”I am a Chieftain of the All Progress Congress in Rivers State. As a Caretaker Chairman of the party, I was not served any notice that anybody ruined our party. The 23 Lawmakers didn’t defect to APC, they only raised that party flag in the house. Holding a flag doesn’t mean defection by any means. I’m a politician and before I can cross-carpet, I have to meet certain conditions.
If I want to go to PDP, I will go to my Ward and I will write a letter to the party. I defected from the PDP with Rotimi Amaechi to the APC and I did that through the ward leadership. I was registered by the party and they gave me a party card. If the Lawmakers are in APC, why are they participating in the PDP Congress?
