The encounter between Bournemouth and Liverpool last weekend got off to a chaotic start as Liverpool’s defense fought to keep up. Within two minutes, Bournemouth came close to scoring, but it was disallowed. They swiftly recovered, though, thanks to an early goal from Antoine Semenyo.
The dominance of Bournemouth was short-lived as Liverpool changed the course of the match. Mohamed Salah scored off the rebound of a penalty shot, and Luis Diaz added an excellent equalizer. When Alexis Mac Allister was sent a red card, Bournemouth appeared to have a chance, but it was later reversed.
Liverpool maintained their outstanding performance and secured the victory in spite of the setback. Shortly after Bournemouth was down to 10 players, Diogo Jota scored an incredible goal. Andoni Iraola, the coach of Bournemouth, will now have to wait a little longer for his first Premier League triumph.
Fulham vs. Arsenal
When Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal club take on a struggling Fulham squad at the Emirates stadium, they will be aiming to win their third straight game. The club managed to earn a victory with a penalty from Martin Odegaard in the second half of their most recent game against Crystal Palace, despite some tense moments as Arteta continued to try out new player combinations. The players put up a lot of effort and showed remarkable resolve to win three crucial points.
Takehiro Tomiyasu’s ban can cause the team’s overall shape and playing style to change in significant ways.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is one probable option for Tomiyasu who might take over as the new full-back. Manager Arteta might have to rearrange the midfield to account for this shift, and he might have to choose between Eddie Nketiah and Kai Havertz.
