Many Nigerians have expressed their condolences to the deceased’s family in response to the death of the musician’s mother.

Charles Oputa, a Nigerian award-winning artist better known as Charlie Boy or Area Fada, joined other Nigerians in expressing his condolences to the deceased’s family.

The rapper included a picture of Wizkid and some words of prayer and encouragement for him in a message he published on his official Twitter account on Saturday.

The response to his post, however, has been widespread.

Charlie Boy wrote in a post that while he understands how terrible losing a mother may be, he has faith in him to get through it.
